Gyllene Moroten
LinTeks pris i pedagogik, Gyllene Moroten (GM), har delats ut sedan 1990 till en anställd vid Linköpings universitet som undervisat i en eller flera kurser för studenter vid tekniska fakulteten. Priset består av ett vandringspris av Gunnar Kanevad, ett penningspris (10 000kr) som sponsras av näringslivet samt en morot i glas. Gyllene Moroten har ett mycket stort genomslag på universitetet och det betyder väldigt mycket för de som blir nominerade och speciellt för vinnaren.
De nominerade utses av respektive sektion, vilket innebär att varje sektion nominerar en kandidat till Gyllene Moroten. På vissa sektioner innebär nomineringen till GM ett eget internt pris. N-sektionen har Gyllene Hammaren, TBi-sektionen har Minimoroten, M-sektionen har Gyllene Skiftnyckeln och Logistik-sektionen har pedagogikpriset – sektionens starkaste länk.
Det är nu dags för er studenter att nominera in lämpliga kandidater till era sektioner.
Din nominering kan tex. vara en examinator, föreläsare, lärare, lektionsledare, labbassistent eller handledare. Och du får såklart nominera flera personer om du vill!
Den av LinTek tillsatta juryn intervjuar studenter som haft den sektionsnominerade i minst en kurs och vinnaren för GM utses med bedömning på engagemang, pedagogisk skicklighet och pedagogiska metoder i ämnet.
Deadline för att nominera kandidater till sektionerna är den 18:e februari.

Nomination for ”Golden Carrot” (Gyllene Moroten)
The Golden Carrot is LinTek’s price in teaching skills and it has been awarded to an employee at LiU since 1990. The price is consisted by 10 000 SEK, a carrot in glas and another special prize that the winner gets to keep for a year. The Golden Carrot means a lot to the University, to the nominees and of course, to the winner.
Each association gets to chose one person to nominate, and this person becomes the association’s candidate for the Golden Carrot. On some associations, the nomination of the association itself grants a special prize. In example, the Association of Mechanical Engineering has a Golden Wrench that their nominee wins.
Now it’s time for you students to send in suggenstions for your associations’ nominee!
The nominee can be for example an examinator, lecturer, teacher, lab assistant and so on. You can send in several suggestions!
Deadline for nominating is 18th of February.
Afterwards, LinTek will put together a jury of students that tell their opinions of the nominee. The students of course has to have taken at least one course where the nominee is working. The winner will be chosen based on his or hers engagement, pedagogical skills and pedagogical methods.
